Christin Cook Zito has been a freelance hair and makeup artist based in Nashville for over 17 years. Before starting her career as a Make-up artist, she was a touring musician and uses that background to empower those she works on to be their best selves for the camera. Christin is well loved on set for her positive and calming energy and provides a respite for the talent in the middle of what can often be chaos on a shoot.
She has worked with celebrities such as; Dan Rather, Dolly Parton, Sarah Drew, the cast of Dancing with the Stars, and Joanna Garcia. Christin’s work can be seen on commercials for; The Food Network, Apple Music, Red Bull, Netflix, Guess Jeans, Oribe Hair, Loreal and Samsung. Editorially, her work has been featured on covers and in Women’s Health Australia, Southern Living, Sophisticated Living, Billboard, GQ, Architectural Digest, People and Parade. She’s also been featured as a beauty expert in Cosmopolitan, NewBeauty, InStyle, Today and Variety.
Although she is experienced in all makeup/ hair artistry, she specializes in working with celebrities in the music & film industry. Beautiful, glowing skin glam looks and mens grooming are just two of her consistent areas of expertise.
