Music photographer Catherine Powell began photographing concerts at the age of 14. She was covering high profile tours for various web outlets within six months of launching her career and has never looked back.
Originally planting her feet in the alternative rock world, Catherine has branched out into every genre of music, shooting everyone from Taylor Swift to Drake; from Elton John to Metallica. While Nashville is now home base for Catherine, the in-demand photographer bounces between New York and Los Angeles. Catherine began working with Kacey Musgraves in 2018 as she was gearing up to release her now-Grammy winning album, Golden Hour, and travels with her globally. She’s been on tours with multiple Grammy winning artists such as Dan + Shay, Maren Morris and Miranda Lambert. Editorially, her work has been published in Rolling Stone, Billboard, People and more.
